Founded in 2004, Safran Homes creates bespoke developments in the South East of England. We work with a select range of architectural partners, drawing on their knowledge and sensitivity to local style to create homes that exceed expectations.

The co-founders of Safran Homes combine expertise in construction and land management with a commitment to create homes of exceptional quality. Robert Coughlan has over 25 years experience in the construction industry, alongside an insider’s grasp of the development process. In his own words: “we believe in building excellence."

We pride ourselves on transparency, understanding that land transactions have to be founded on trust. James Hannah has over eight years experience in high-level land acquisition. Adept at managing relationships with landowners and institutions, he oversees the sourcing of sites and contractual negotiations – actively promoting sites through the planning system and helping vendors to understand the process throughout. The active involvement of financial partner Peter Woodthorpe ensures that we can commit to large-scale investments with confidence.
